May 2007 marks the 5 year anniversary for the "W" Network, a television network with programming targeted to Women. They threw a party to celebrate this occasion on Wednesday May 2nd at trendy Brassaii Bistro on King St. West in downtown Toronto. It was a full house with many of the advertising agency's who support the network as well as some of the stars from their shows, including Anna Wallner and Kristina Matisic from the show "The Shopping Bags". All guests were treated with amazing gift bags at the end of the night which among other goodies included samples of Diablo's exciting new line up of Functional Strips, 'Relax' to relieve stress, 'Energy' to give an energy boost and 'Detox' to avoid the dreaded hangover. I'm sure the guests will appreciate each of the products in our functional strip lineup. Oh, I hope we get a good review from "The Shopping Bags". No, seriously, it would be great if you ladies liked the product. I heard that Canadian women actually boycott the products that get bad reviews. ;o)
Some of the other shows you can see on the W Network are Colour Confidential, Gilmore Girls, and Style by Jury. Speaking of Style by Jury, I wonder if David Clemmer, the show's fashion consultant, thought that our packaging makes our product look vibrant and up-to-date.
