The U.S. launch of Diablo Energy Strips brought together more than 8,000 corporate buyers and independent storeowners. The Food Television channel and local media were on location to cover the event. The Diablo booth had non-stop traffic going through it, keeping the staff constantly on their feet. Diablo received a lot of attention from top industry journals, The Professional Candy Buyer and The Confectioner.
Diablo staff attended the All Industry Party at the legendary House of Blue in the heart of Chicago. Hosted buy Hershey and Cadbury Adams, the party was a huge success, drawing attention not only from the U.S., but also from buyers from around the world.
